🎨 How does it work?
Book a 1.5-hour session online, come in, choose your pottery, and start painting. Drinks and cakes are available to order to your table.
We then glaze and fire your piece, and it’s ready to collect in under 10 days (often sooner).
💷 What does the £5 booking fee include?
The £5 is a deposit per person and includes:
- Studio time (1.5 hours)
- Paints and materials
- Glazing and kiln firing
Pottery is chosen and paid for separately in the studio.
🎨 I’m not very good at art – is this for me?
Absolutely. In fact, most people who come say exactly the same thing.
This isn’t an art class — it’s about relaxing, having fun and creating something personal. There’s no pressure to be “good”, and no one is judging.
We’ll give you simple guidance to get started, and you can keep it as easy or detailed as you like.
Some of the best pieces come from people who thought they’d be the worst.
💰 How much does the pottery cost?
Most pieces range from £7 to £30, depending on what you choose.
We’ve got everything from mugs and plates to ornaments and dog bowls.
👨👩👧👦 Do I need to book in advance?
We strongly recommend booking — especially weekends and holidays.
Walk-ins are welcome if we have space, but we do get busy.
⏱️ How long are the sessions?
All sessions are 1.5 hours:
- 09:30 – 11:00
- 12:00 – 13:30
- 14:30 – 16:00
- Thursday evenings: 19:00 – 21:00 (Paint & Sip)
❌ What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable within 48 hours of your booking.
🎉 Do you do parties and group bookings?
Yes — we host:
- Children’s parties (age 10+)
- Adult groups
- Birthdays & celebrations
- Team building

🍷 Do you serve food and drinks?
Yes — we offer:
- Great coffee
- Luxury hot chocolate

👶 Is it suitable for children?
Yes — it’s perfect for families.
For parties, we recommend age 10 and over.
🐾 Can I do baby prints or pet prints?
Yes — we offer both:
- Baby hand and footprint keepsakes
- Dog paw prints (very popular!)

🏠 Can I paint at home?
Yes — we offer takeaway paint kits.
You paint at home, return the items, and we glaze and fire them for you.
🔥 Is everything safe?
Yes — we follow strict procedures for:
- Food safety
- Studio hygiene
- Kiln operation
Everything is done properly and safely behind the scenes.
🚗 Is there parking?
Yes — free parking is available opposite the shop.
If it’s busy, there is a cheap pay and display behind the BP (M&S) Petrol Station
📦 When will my pottery be ready?
Usually within 7–10 days, often quicker.
We’ll let you know when it’s ready to collect.
