For groups of 10 or more, we can open the pottery café especially for your private evening. Fancy a Friday night, a Saturday celebration or a midweek catch-up? Ask us about the date you have in mind. All dates are subject to availability.
Tell us your numbers and preferred dates. We’ll confirm the seating, private-use arrangements and start and finish times with you before anything is booked.
Choose, paint, sip and catch up
- Choose your pottery. Browse the mugs, plates, bowls, ornaments and other ready-made pieces in the café.
- Settle in and paint. Pick your colours, order a drink and enjoy time with your group. We’ll help you get started; no painting experience is needed.
- Leave the finishing to us. We glaze and kiln-fire your pottery. It’s normally ready to collect in around 10 days.
Visiting from further away? We can post most finished pieces within the UK for under £10 per piece. Ask us during your visit to confirm the cost for your chosen pottery. Read about UK postage.
Our regular Thursday Paint & Sip runs for two hours, from 7pm–9pm. We’ll agree the timing of your private evening when you enquire.
Something different for your next celebration
Adult birthdays, hen parties, friends’ nights, clubs and social groups, work socials, team events and Christmas parties all have a place around our painting tables. Everyone can choose their own piece and design.

Simple, clear pricing
The £5 studio fee per painter covers table time, paints, glazing and kiln firing. Pottery and drinks are paid for separately. Choose your pottery in the studio and tell us your budget if you’d like help planning.
We’ll confirm the arrangements and any applicable costs for your private evening before you commit. Making Christmas gifts or painting for a particular occasion? Tell us when you need the finished pieces so we can check the firing schedule.
A night out in Bourne End
