Try a weekday mug swap
Paint a mug for a colleague and swap the finished pieces back at work. Choose names before your visit, then use their favourite colours, initials or a simple pattern to make it personal. Prefer to paint for yourself? That works too.
This fits a normal 90-minute daytime painting session. Agree a pottery budget with your team and tell us your numbers and two possible weekdays. The usual £5 studio fee applies, with pottery and drinks extra. We’ll check suitable pieces and seating before you book. Allow around 10 days for glazing and firing before your swap.
Pottery painting for teams near Marlow and Maidenhead
We’re at 27 The Parade, Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, SL8 5SB, convenient for teams based in Marlow, Cookham, Maidenhead, High Wycombe and Beaconsfield.
Everyone chooses a ready-made pottery piece and decorates it in their own style. Keep it simple with stripes and spots, paint an office mug, or make a gift for someone. No pottery-making or painting experience is needed. We help you get started and are on hand for tips; this is a relaxed painting session rather than a formal taught class.
How much does a team session cost?
- £5 studio fee per painter, covering table time, paints, glazing and kiln firing.
- Pottery is purchased separately. Each person chooses their piece; tell us your spending limit so we can discuss suitable options.
- Drinks and sweet treats are extra. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks, wine, beer, Prosecco and cocktails are available to purchase.
You choose what to spend on pottery and refreshments. When enquiring about private use or a different session time, we’ll confirm the arrangements and any applicable costs before you commit.
Daytime team socials and private evenings
Standard daytime painting sessions last 90 minutes. Our regular Thursday Paint & Sip evenings run from 7–9pm and require advance booking. For a private event or another evening, contact us so we can check staffing, timing and availability.
Please contact us first for a larger group or exclusive use so we can confirm the seating and dates.
A Christmas team outing with something to keep
Paint a personal gift, an office mug or ask about our Christmas decorations and baubles. Let us know what your team would like to paint so we can check the pieces available. It’s a chance to catch up while everyone makes something of their own.
Finished pottery is normally ready to collect in around 10 days. If you need pieces for a particular gift date, tell us before booking so we can check the firing and collection timing.
Weekday community and social groups
For a daytime outing with a WI, u3a, parent group, home-education group or support organisation, see our weekday visit information. Send your group size, accompanying non-painters, preferred dates and any access questions so we can discuss the arrangements.
Planning for your group
Meals are not normally served; sweet treats are available. If catering is important, mention it in your enquiry and we can discuss what may be possible. Please also tell us about access requirements or any accompanying non-painters so we can discuss the space with you.
