A creative outing for children and adults
Choose from the pottery available in the café—such as mugs, bowls, plates and ornaments—then decorate it in your own style. One person can paint stripes while another attempts a detailed design. You don’t need to know how to make pottery or have painting experience; we help you get started.
For families looking for something to do away from screens, the same table can become a collection of completely different projects. Drinks and sweet treats are available to buy while you paint.
What the £5 studio fee includes
The fee covers table time, paints, glazing and kiln firing. Pottery is chosen and paid for separately in the studio. Once you’ve painted, leave your piece with us; collection is normally in around 10 days.
Visiting from further away? We can post most finished pieces within the UK for under £10 per piece. Ask us during your visit to confirm the cost for your chosen pottery. Read about UK postage.
Tell us your pottery budget when you arrive, or contact us first if you want a particular piece. If the finished pottery is a present, check the firing timing with us before booking.
